Sarah Cattan is Senior Research Economist at the Institute for Fiscal Studies in London, UK. She earned her PhD at the University of Chicago in 2012.
She is an applied microeconomic with a strong interest in labor economics and its intersection with development, health and family economics. Her current research focuses on the formation of human capital from birth through adolescence, the determinants of parental investments in their children, and the impact of early childhood education and childcare policies on children and their families.
She joined IZA as a research affiliate in March 2016.
