Caroline Wehner

Research Affiliate


Caroline Wehner is a Research Associate at the German Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB). Between 2011 and 2017, she was a Resident Research Affiliate at the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA).

She holds a PhD in Economics from Maastricht University and a diploma in Economics (equiv. M.A.) from Cologne University.

Furthermore, she is a Research Affiliate at the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA) and the United Nations University – Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (UNU-MERIT) as well as a Junior Research Fellow in the Maastricht University (SBE) research theme Learning and Work.

Her research interest is behavioural, education and labour economics as well as policy analysis.
