Hanna Frings

Hanna Frings is a researcher at RWI in Essen, Germany, and deputy head of the division "Labour Markets, Education, Population".
She received her PhD in Economics from the Ruhr University Bochum in 2014.
Hanna is an applied labour economist, with a strong focus on labour market institutions and policy as well as (unobserved) worker and firm heterogeneity in wage formation.
She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in July 2016 and became IZA Research Fellow in November 2021.
