Christian Zimpelmann is a Senior Research Associate at IZA. He obtained his PhD in economics from the University of Bonn in 2021.

Previously, he studied industrial engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and economics at the University of Bonn and the University of Toronto.

In his research, he studies the choices of households, e.g. with respect to their labor supply and their finances.
