Luca Henkel is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Chicago and University of CEMA as part of the Joint Initiative for Latin American Experimental Economics.
In Fall 2024, he will join the Erasmus School of Economics in Rotterdam as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance. He received his Ph.D. in 2023 from the University of Bonn.
His research fields are behavioral economics and household finance. In particular, he examines determinants and consequences of financial and moral decision-making using experiments, surveys, and linked survey-administrative data.

He collaborates with the behavioral economics team at IZA as an Associated Member.
