Marian Vidal-Fernández

Marian Vidal-Fernández received her B.A. and Master's degrees from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2005. She obtained her PhD at Boston University May 2010. She is currently a senior lecturer at the University of Sydney and a Life Course Centre fellow..

Marian's research reflects her general interest in using applied micro-econometrics to study how policy-relevant issues in labor, education, and health affect Human Capital, with a special focus on disadvantaged children.

She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in March 2010 and became an IZA Research Fellow in January 2013. She is an ARC Life Course Centre Research Fellow since April 2015.
