Efi Adamopoulou is a researcher at the University of Mannheim and an external lecturer at EBS. Previously, she was a (tenured) economist at the Bank of Italy.

She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in 2013. Efi’s research focuses on labour economics and applied micro-econometrics. She is particularly interested in research on household decision-making, education, consumption, and wage determination.

Efi joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in July 2016 and became a Research Fellow in November 2021.
