Sabien Dobbelaere

Research Fellow

Freie Universität Amsterdam

Sabien Dobbelaere is an Associate Professor (UHD) at the Department of Economics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Research Fellow at Tinbergen Institute (TI).

Her fields of specialization are applied microeconometrics and applied microeconomics. Two central themes are firm production and pricing, and labor-management relations. The observed gap between an input’s marginal product and its measured payment combined with the ubiquity of firm-level productivity variation and persistence are empirical regularities that have shaped her research agenda.

She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in January 2005 and became a Research Fellow in February 2007.
