Yarine Fawaz
Yarine Fawaz
Research Fellow

Yarine Fawaz is a Research Fellow at CEMFI and a Ramon y Cajal Fellow at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. Prior to that she was Assistant Professor at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, and a Post-Doctoral Max Weber fellow at the European University Institute.

Her research focuses on health, ageing, education, and gender topics. She has published papers in journals such as in The Economic Journal, and has written chapters in books published by Oxford University Press or De Gruyter.

Yarine Fawaz joined IZA as a Research Fellow in January 2021.
