Joanna Tyrowicz

Joanna Tyrowicz is a professor of economics at the University of Warsaw and she leads the Group for Research in Applied Economics (GRAPE).

Her main research areas are labor economics, demographics and pensions with particular focus on inequality. In addition, she participates in developing harmonized individual level labor data from a variety of countries in Data@GRAPE initiative. She served as economic adviser for the National Bank of Poland and as a consultant at The World Bank, OECD and European Commission.

Joanna Tyrowicz became Research Fellow in August 2017.
