Jungmin Lee

Jungmin Lee is currently a professor in the Department of Economics, Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea. He was previously an assistant professor at University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Florida International University and an associate professor at Sogang University.

He received his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Texas at Austin in May of 2004. His dissertation studies group decision-making processes, with emphasis on intra-household resource allocation mechanism. He attempted to identify unobservable underlying decision-making processes by exploiting cultural and institutional peculiarities. His general research interests are in labor economics and applied microeconomics.

He joined IZA as a research affiliate in December 2003 and became a Research Fellow in March 2006.
