Etienne Lehmann is professor of Economics at CRED, Université Panthéon Assas Paris 2 (France) and research fellow at CREST.
He is junior member of Institut Universitaire de France, extramural fellow at the Economics Department of the Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium) and research network memeber of CESifo (Munich) and of IDEP (Marseille)
He studied Economics at ENSAE (National School of Economic Administration, 1995) and at University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (DEA (MA) in 1995 and Ph’D in 1998).
He is mainly interested in theoretical labor economics, with particular interest in unemployment, taxation and redistributive policies.
His published articles can be found in Annales d’économie et de statistiques, Economics Bulletin, Journal of Economic Integration, Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Public Economic Theory, Louvain Economic review, Review of Economic Dynamics, Review of Economic Studies, Social Choice and Welfare, Spanish Economic Review.

He is maried with Emmanuelle Taugourdeau and has three kids named Joséphine (2000), Valentine (2003) and Victor (2006).
He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in June 2004.
