Sara Malik

Dr. Sara Malik is an assistant professor at the University of Utah. She received her PhD from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2021. Her research interests include non-investor stakeholders (e.g., workers, consumers, local communities, etc.) and real effects. At present, she focuses on the intersection of labor economics and accounting, and she studies the impact of disclosure, earnings announcements, and financial reporting on job seekers and employees. Prior to matriculating at Stanford, Professor Malik worked at Cornerstone Research, an economic consulting firm, for five years.
