Lars Lefgren completed his PhD at the Graduate School of Business of the University of Chicago in 2001.
Since then, he has worked as a professor at Brigham Young University. His research interests include labor economics, education, and econometrics. Lars is married to Kimberly Lefgren and is the father of four children.
He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in May 2020.
