Tianyi Wang is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Industrial Relations Section and Department of Economics at Princeton University. Before he was a postdoc at the Department of Economics and the Center for Economic Behavior and Inequality (CEBI) at the University of Copenhagen. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in 2020 and his B.A. from Colgate University in 2015.

Tianyi is an applied microeconomist working at the intersection of political economy, economic history, and health economics. His primary research agenda focuses on gauging the political impacts of the media and information technologies. He also has an active research agenda studying how technologies affect health and labor market outcomes.

Tianyi joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in September 2020.
