Andrei Zlate

Andrei Zlate is a Financial Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.

Before joining the Boston Fed, he worked as an economist in the Division of International Finance at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. His current research focusses on topics related to international labor migration, offshoring, cross-border banking flows, capital controls, and capital flows to emerging market economies. He earned Master's degrees in Economics from Boston College and Copenhagen Business School, and received his Ph.D. in Economics from Boston College.

Andrei joined IZA as a Research Fellow in October 2015.
