Andrew Hussey

Andrew Hussey is an Associate Professor Economics at the University of Memphis, where he was previously an Assistant Professor. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from Duke University in 2006 and his B.A. in Economics and Chemistry from St. Olaf College in 2000.

Andrew’s research interests are in Labor Economics, Economics of Education, and Health Economics. Specific focuses include the impacts of obtaining an MBA degree, as well as estimation of gender gaps in various settings.

Andrew Hussey joined IZA as a Research Fellow in Janunary 2022.
