Jan Feld is a senior lecturer at the School of Economics and Finance at Victoria University of Wellington. He obtained his PhD in economics from the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) at Maastricht University in 2014 and worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Economics at Gothenburg University from April 2014 to September 2015.
Jan’s research interest is economics of education, labor economics and behavioral economics. His current research focuses on peer effects in education and the effect of teacher experience on student outcomes.
Jan joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in May 2016.
