Louis Lippens is an FWO postdoctoral fellow and lecturer at Ghent University. Louis holds a joint PhD in Economics and Sociology from Ghent University and Vrije Universiteit Brussel. His research focuses primarily on hiring discrimination. Other research interests include unemployment and inactivity, alternative work arrangements, and the rising role of (Gen)AI in the labour market. He also serves as a member of the Flemish Public Employment Services Ethics Board. Louis joined IZA@LISER as a Research Affiliate in March 2026.
