Mikkel Mertz is a Research Economist at The ROCKWOOL Foundation.

Mikkel’s research interests broadly encompass Labor Economics, Economics of Crime and Applied Microeconomics. His current research focuses on the consequences of crime for criminals, victims and individuals growing up in a high crime area.

Mikkel joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in April 2023.
