Michael Böhm is an Assistant Professor at the University of Bonn and a research fellow at the Swedish House of Finance. He has in the past been a visiting Assistant Professor at the Vancouver School of Economics, University of British Columbia. He completed his Ph.D. at the London School of Economics in 2013.

Michael’s research interests center around labor economics and its intersections with econometrics, corporate finance, personnel, technological change, and macroeconomics.

He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in March 2016 and became a Research Fellow in November 2021.

He is a member of IZA's research team on the Digital Transformation.
