Isis Gaddis is a Senior Economist with the World Bank's Gender Group in Washington DC. She previously worked as poverty economist for Tanzania based in Dar es Salaam. Her current research interests include the measurement and analysis of women's labor force participation and intrahousehold inequality in consumption and poverty.

She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Göttingen, where she was a member of the development economics research group from 2006 to 2012.

Isis Gaddis joined IZA as a Research Fellow in March 2018.
