Ulrich Kaiser

Ulrich Kaiser, born 1971 in Unna (Germany), is professor for Entrepreneurship at the University of Zurich. He previously held positions at the University of Southern Denmark at Odense from 2001 to 2008 and, from 1997 to 2001, the Centre for European Economic Research in Mannheim (Germany). His academic degrees Diplom-Volkswirt (Master of Science in Economics) and Dr. rer. pol. (Ph.D.) are both from the University of Konstanz. Apart from IZA, he is presently also affiliated with the Centre for Business and Economics at Copenhagen Business School, the Centre for European Economic Research and the Centre for Industrial Economics at the University of Copenhagen. He conducts mainly empirical research in Innovation, Entrepreneurship Economics and Business Strategy.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in February 2010.
