Iga Magda is Associate Professor at the Warsaw School of Economics and vice president of the Management Board at the Institute for Structural Research (IBS, Warsaw). Previously she worked at the Polish Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.

Her research is focused on labour market, education and social policies, with a particular interest in family policies. She is also interested in gender pay gaps and developments in collective bargaining.

Iga Magda joined IZA as a Research Fellow in March 2018.
