Albrecht Glitz

Albrecht Glitz is currently working as an associate professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. He holds a PhD in Economics from University College London. He is a research fellow at IZA and CReAM, the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration, and a Research Affiliate at CESifo. His research interests are in labour economics, in particular the economics of immigration. He is currently working on issues related to the role of social networks in the labour market and the impact of occupational recognition on immigrants' labour market outcomes.

He was an IZA Research Affiliate from July 2006 until March 2009 and became an IZA Research Fellow in August 2009.
