Anica Kramer is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Bamberg. She received her PhD in economics from Ruhr University Bochum in 2018.
During her doctoral studies, she worked as a researcher at RWI and was a visiting researcher at Rutgers University. Previously, she studied economics and social science at the University of Erfurt and economics at the University of Göttingen, the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics.
Her main research interests are in empirical labor (migration, education, health), with a special focus on regional dimensions and by using spatial (big) data.
Anica Kramer became a Research Affiliate in October 2018 and IZA Research Fellow in December 2023.
