Victoria Prowse is an Assistant Professor in Economics at Cornell University. Victoria's main areas of interest are labor economics, public economics and experimental economics.
One aspect of Victoria's research focuses on labor supply, and examines questions on pension policy, Unemployment Insurance and employment transitions over the life-cycle. Another stream of Victoria's research uses data from laboratory and field experiments to study disappointment aversion, goals, employee compensation, performance feedback and learning.
She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in May 2005 and became a Research Fellow in May 2008.
