Eric Verhoogen is Professor of Economics and of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. His main current interest is in industrial development -- microeconomic work on firms in developing countries, with a particular focus on the interactions between product markets and labor markets.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in March 2004.
