Konstantinos Tatsiramos is a Professor of Labor Economics at the University of Luxembourg. He received a Ph.D. in Economics from the European University Institute in Florence, an M.Sc. in Economics from University College London and a B.Sc. in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business.

Before joining the University of Luxembourg and previously LISER, he held academic positions at leading institutions, including Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham (2013-2017), Reader and Lecturer at the University of Leicester (2011-2013) and Researcher at IZA-Institute of Labor Economics (2005 to 2011).

His research interests lie in labor economics and applied micro-econometrics, with particular focus on labor market institutions, unemployment dynamics, mobility and economic inequality. His work has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of the European Economic Association, the Economic Journal, the European Economic Review, the Journal of Applied Econometrics, Labour Economics and the Journal of Population Economics, among others.

He has previously help editorial and leadership roles in the field of labor economics. He was Co-Editor of "Research in Labor Economics" at IZA (2007-2022), Program Coordinator for the IZA Research Area "Labor Market Institutions" (2008-2022), Subject Editor for "Demography, Family and Gender" at IZA World of Labor (2014-2022), and Academic Editor in Economics at PLOS ONE (2019-2024).
