Pia Imhoff holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Anthropology from the University of Münster, with an exchange semester at the University of Nanterre. She then completed a double master’s degree in anthropology at Goethe University in Frankfurt and the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. Before joining IZA, she was a trainee at the European Labour Authority in Bratislava.
