I am a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the School of Economics at the University of Sydney, Australia.

I received my PhD in March 2021 from Maastricht University, The Netherlands. I also hold a Master’s degree in Statistics from ENSAI in Rennes, France, and a Master’s degree in Economics from Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany.

My research focuses on human capital formation, education and welfare policies. I study how students, parents and teachers form expectations, and how expectations affect educational outcomes and choices. I use administrative data and survey data from various settings, including Taiwan, the Netherlands and Australia.

I joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in July 2018. I am also a Research Affiliate at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Children and Families over the Life Course (LCC) since May 2018.
