Alexandra de Gendre is a PhD student at the School of Business and Economics and at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) at Maastricht University, The Netherlands.
She received a Master’s degree in Statistics and Data Science from Ensai in Rennes, France, and a Master’s degree in Economics from Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany.
Alexandra’s research focuses on education economics and labor economics. Her dissertation explores the role of subjective expectations and economic preferences in students’ high education choices and labor market outcomes.

Alexandra joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in July 2018.
