Francesco Amodio

Francesco Amodio is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and the Institute for the Study of International Development at McGill University. He studies market imperfections and their impact on the productivity and efficiency of organizations. He was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Yale University and a Visiting Scholar at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He is also a Research Affiliate of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). His work has been published in The Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of the European Economic Association, and the Economic Journal among others. He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in March 2015 and was appointed Research Fellow in December 2023.
