Imran Rasul received his PhD from the London School of Economics in 2003. He is a Professor in Economics at University College London. His research interests include development, household, and personnel economics, and charitable giving.
In 2007 he won the IZA Young Labor Economist Award together with Oriana Bandiera and Iwan Barankay for their paper "Social Preferences and the Response to Incentives: Evidence from Personnel Data," Quarterly Journal of Economics, vol. 120 (3), August, 2005, pp. 917-962.
Imran joined IZA as a Research Fellow in May 2009.
