Yuanyuan Ma is a Professor of Economics at School of Public Finance and Taxation, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and Visiting Research Fellow at The Irish Longitudinal Study on Aging (TILDA), Trinity College Dublin. Graduated from Wuhan University (BA, MA) in 2009, University College Dublin (PhD) in 2013. She worked as a Teaching Fellow at University College Dublin in 2013-2014 and as a Research Fellow at Trinity College Dublin in 2014-2016. She has been working at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law since 2016.

Her fields of research are in Labor Economics, Health Economics, Population Economics and Development Economics.

She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in 2013 and became a Research Fellow in December 2023.
