Henning Hermes

Henning Hermes is an Associate Professor of the Economics of Education at the University of Munich (LMU) and Deputy Director of the ifo Center for the Economics of Education at ifo Institute Munich.

Henning's research focuses on Experimental and Behavioral Economics, primarily using field experiments to study policy-relevant questions in the Economics of Education.


Henning is affiliated with the FAIR Excellence Cluster at NHH Bergen, a CESifo and a CEPR Research Affiliate, and a Network Member of HCEO.

He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in May 2020.
