Tomas is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Insper. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Brasília and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and the Barcelona School of Economics. He holds a PhD in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2019). His research interests include macroeconomics and labor economics, with a focus on firm and income dynamics, income inequality, and market and monopsony power.
