Francesco Drago
Research Fellow

Francesco Drago is Professor in Economics at the University of Messina. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Siena in 2006 and he is research fellow at the Center for Studies in Economics and Finance (CSEF) in Naples.

He has held several visiting positions at Columbia University, University College London, the University of Munich, and Harvard University. He collaborates as referee for journals such as Econometrica, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the American Economic Review, the Review of Economics and Statistics, the Economic Journal and the Journal of the European Economic Association. His research interests are in applied microeconometrics in the fields of labour economics, crime and political economy.

Francesco Drago’s major publications have appeared in the Journal of Political Economy, Quarterly Journal of Economics, AEJ: Applied Economics, American Law and Economics Review, and Economic Policy.
