Kamila Cygan-Rehm is a professor (W2, tenure-track) of economics at the Dresden University of Technology (TUD) holding the Chair of Quantitative Methods, esp. Econometrics. She received her PhD in Economics in 2013 from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.
Kamila is an applied microeconomist working mostly in the fields of education, labor, family, and population economics, public health, and policy evaluations. Her current research projects focus on monetary and non-monetary returns to education and the determinants of early childhood development.
She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in October 2018 and became a Research Fellow in December 2023.
