Habiba Djebbari is currently Associate professor at Aix-Marseille University. She received her doctoral degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Maryland.

Her research interests include applied econometrics and development. She is an applied econometrician. Her publication record includes Journal of Econometrics (2008, 2009), Journal of Applied Econometrics (2012) and the Lancet Global Health (20150.

She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in May 2003 and became a Research Fellow in July 2005.
