I am a Research Scientist at the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) and Full Professor of Economics at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). I am also an affiliated researcher at the Department of Economics at KU Leuven and a fellow at NETSPAR. From 2024 to 2026, I worked at the National Bank of Belgium (NBB). I hold a PhD in economics from KU Leuven, MSc in economics from the University of Essex and BA in economics from PUCP.
My research interests are: public economics, pensions, economic inequality, attitudes towards redistribution and taxation, perceptions of inequality, inter-generational transfers, pensions, economic demography, ageing, health inequalities.
