Luca Fumarco is a postdoctorate fellow at the economic department of Tulane University and the Murphy Institute, in the US.
Previously, he has been an economist at the national statistical institute of Luxembourg, STATEC.
Most of his latest studies focus on two broad topics: (i) measuring discrimination in the markets, and (ii) measuring the effect of within cohort age differences (i.e., relative age effects and age at school entry effects) on labour outcomes, well-being, and education. He is currently expanding his research interest to contract theory and behavioral economics.
His studies have been published in Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Land Economics, Economics and Human Biology, B.E. Journal of Economic Analysis and Policy, Applied Economics, IZA Journal of Development and Migration, Journal of Business Ethics.
He graduated at Linnaeus University in 2015, while his graduate studies were at the University of Eastern Piedmont and at the Université de Rennes 1.
