Giuseppe Ippedico is an incoming Assistant Professor in the School of Economics at the University of Nottingham (from September 2023). He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics in 2022 from the University of California Davis, where he also spent one year as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Global Migration Center.
His research agenda is at the intersection between labor and public economics and broadly focuses on high-skilled migration, the effects of migrations on local economies, and on how tax incentives influence migration decisions.
Giuseppe joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in April 2023.
