Joseph Vecci

Joseph Vecci is an Assistant Professor at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

He completed his PhD at Monash University, Australia in 2016. His primary research interests are in the fields of development
economics and behavioural economics.

Within these fields he has two key research themes gender and the psychological impacts of poverty on decision making. A common thread in his research agenda is the utilisation of lab and lab-in-the-field experiments as a tool to study the effectiveness of policies in these fields.

Joseph Vecci joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in February 2019.
