Caterina Muratori is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in the Department of Economics and Economic History. She is also an Affiliated Professor at the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE) and a Fellow at the Center for Health Economics and Policy Studies (CHEPS) and the Global Labor Organization (GLO).

Her research focuses on Gender Economics and Health Economics, investigating the socioeconomic factors that shape health outcomes and gender disparities. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Collegio Carlo Alberto, University of Torino, and the University of Reading.
