Dinand Webbink is Professor of Policy Evaluation at the Erasmus School of Economics of the University of Rotterdam. He is research fellow of the Tinbergen Institute and affiliated with the Erasmus Centre for Strategic Philanthropy (ECSP). Dinand received his PH.D in Economics from the University of Amsterdam in 1999. His current work includes empirical analysis of the effects of policy interventions in education, health and philanthropy, and his work has been published in international academic journals including the Review of Economics and Statistics, the Journal of Health Economics, the Journal of Law, Econonomics and Organization, Economica, the Economics of Education Review, Health Economics and the Journal of Population Economics.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in August 2010.
