Joniada Milla is currently Associate Professor of Economics at Saint Mary's University in Canada.

She completed her graduate studies in Economics (M.A. and Ph.D.) at the University of Guelph in Canada. She has held previous positions as Assistant Professor of Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada, and as Post-Doctoral Fellow at CORE (Center for Operations Research and Econometrics), Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium.

Her research interests are in the fields of Applied Econometrics, Economics of Education and Labor Economics.

Joniada joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in July 2017 and became a Research Fellow in December 2023.
