Professor of Economics, Clement Imbert is a development economist with a focus on rural-urban migration, labor markets and social protection. He has collaborated on policy evaluations with governments in Belgium, France, Ethiopia and India. He also has research on Brazil and China. His recent work looks at environmental questions such as deforestation and climate migration. He started his career as a postdoc at Nuffield College and the University of Oxford and later served as a professor at the University of Warwick.
