Marco Bertoni is Associate Professor of Economic Policy at the University of Padova, Department of Economics and Management "Marco Fanno". He has obtained his PhD in Economics in 2014 from the University of Padova. He is also Research Affiliate at the Health Econometrics and Data Group (HEDG) - University of York.

His research interests are in Labor Economics, Economics of Education, Health, Aging, and Family Economics. On this topics he has published in the Journal of Public Economics, the Journal of Health Economics, European Economic Review, Demography, the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society: Series A, and many others.

Marco Bertoni joined IZA as a Research Fellow in February 2019.
