Annemarie Künn-Nelen is project manager/ researcher at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour market (ROA). In her PhD thesis, she investigated the consequences of part-time employment for workers’ careers, firm productivity and children’s cognitive development. Annemarie currently works on research related to lifelong learning, employability and labour force participation with a focus on vulnerable groups at the labour market. Annemarie’s research interests are labour economics, health economics and family economics.

She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in October 2011 and became a Research Fellow in July 2014.
