Henri Fraisse is head of the macroprudential risk division of the French Banking and Insurance Supervisory Authority. He received his M.Sc. in Economics and Finance at ENSAE and his Ph.D. in Economics at Cornell University in 2009.

His main research interests are in empirical labour economics, consumer finance and banking with a strong emphasis on the influence of the regulations and its enforcement. His current researches are focused on the impact of banking regulation on credit distribution.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in November 2010.
